Activate has three 'cultural imperatives' (or 'reasons to exist')
Social Justice
Our community exists to influence the world with the just principles of the Kingdom of God and to see lives, communities, cities and nations transformed through that influence.
Transformative Action
Our community exists for purpose-driven action, motivated by the love of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit, resulting in social, cultural, political, physical, emotional and spiritual transformation in all spheres of human existence.
Supernatural Power
Our community exists only through reliance on the grace of the Holy Spirit and achieves
transformation through faith in the supernatural power and gifting of the Holy Spirit at work
in its members.
Activate's vision is to increasingly become
A community of activists
Modelled on the life of Christ
Empowered by the Holy Spirit
Achieving observable transformation
